new zealand's capital city has so much to offer!
Amazing arts and culture experiences, fantastic food and wine and a compact downtown area - Wellington is the perfect place to mix business and pleasure for your next New Zealand conference, meeting or convention.

One of Wellington’s best features for conference attendees is its walk-ability. Central Wellington is only 2 kilometres in diameter - you can walk from one side to the other in under 30 minutes! Hotels and meeting venues are just a short stroll from shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, art galleries and theatres.

In addition to traditional conference venues, many of Wellington’s business meetings take place in an altogether different venue - its cafés. Coffee is big business in Wellington. Pop into one during your Wellington conference and find out what all the fuss is about.

Got time between meetings? Hit the shops - Wellington is a shopper's paradise. Then after a spot of retail therapy, take time out and enjoy the scenery. Wellington’s crowning glory is its waterfront - this is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Fine cuisine is Wellington’s specialty. Dine alfresco with colleagues on the harbour-side and watch the world go by, or merge with the locals in a quirky café.

Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand. Make sure you visit two of the country’s landmarks, both located in Wellington. The first is Te Papa Tongarewa, New Zealand’s bold and innovative national museum, and the second is the 'Beehive', where the national Government presides. Wellington is a leader in New Zealand's conference industry.

Wairarapa
Just over an hour from Wellington is the Wairarapa, one of New Zealand’s top food and wine destinations at the heart of the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail. With a blend of Kiwi hospitality and warmth, luxury, boutique or hideaway accommodation, visitor attractions and conference venues, Wairarapa is attractive to private or corporate visitors. Brand new trains make Wairarapa reachable in comfort and with convenience. Organise a conference, convention, meeting or incentive in Wairarapa; you won’t be disappointed!

Kapiti
Kapiti, under an hour from Wellington, is bounded by beaches, steep mountains and dense forest. Understandably, it’s also known as the Nature Coast. The Kapiti Coast is renowned for many specialist foods and beverages, including some of its most famous exports - cheese and ice cream. The jewel in the Kapiti crown is Kapiti Island - an internationally recognised nature reserve. If you’re after a conference venue away from prying eyes, Kapiti can offer privacy, without being too far from the big city of Wellington. Organise a conference, meeting or convention in Kapiti today!

Location
Wellington is located at the bottom of the North Island and the centre of New Zealand, making it a perfect base to explore the rest of the country. The city has its own international airport, with direct flights from Australia and is easily accessible by road, rail and sea. Go on, spoil yourself in Wellington.
